Welcome to Talk3G!

Hopefully someone on Three will be able to assist you shortly, but it might interest you to know that Yahoo Search, Yahoo Mobile Web, Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo Mail, and Yahoo Go for Mobile will all be available on Three from this summer (if they are not already) due to a deal between Three and Yahoo.

@alanuk - Assuming you have Internet access enabled via 3 you should be able to automate the setting up of your eMail on the 6280 using Nokia's website. There you will find a settings page that you can enter in your Yahoo eMail account information (username, password etc.) and these will be sent to your handset as a set-up SMS message. Nokia make all of this rather nice and easy.

Try this link http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,77073,00.html and select "Advanced Settings"

Three UK isn't like the other UK Mobile operators.

Three UK operates a 'Walled Garden' that restricts what content and services you can view/use on your handset.

Not being a Three subscriber I'm afraid that's as far as my advice goes... I'd have thought you could access Yahoo! mail by now without adding to your tariff, but if not you might need to buy one of their data add-ons.

Three also do an eMail add-on, but being an ex-Three punter myself I'm not sure how that works or if it works with Yahoo. Pesky walled garden, messes everyone up. But then we're told by 3's management that it is exactly what the Customers want. Ho hum.
