Browsing the main on-line dealer sites it would appear that 3 have almost dissapeared from most of the 'home' pages of the main dealers in the UK. 3 deals were once some of the most prominent in the country but are now consigned to their own sections instead of being promoted on the home pages of the top sales sites. This not only applies to contract deals but to PAYG too.
Here's the state of the on-line market checked today (19/06/2006):
Carphone Warehouse: 3 X Vodafone, 2 X Orange, 2 X 02 Deals
e2save.com: 5 X Orange, 3 X Vodafone, 1 X 02 Deals
Phones4U: 4 X 02, 1 X Vodafone, 1 X T-Mobile Deals
The Link: 2 X Orange, 2 X 02, 1 X T-Mobile, 1 X Vodafone Deals
Dial-A-Phone: 4 X T-Mobile 4 X 02 Deals
Mobileshop.com: 5 X 02, 1 X T-Mobile, 1 X Vodafone, 1 X 3 Deals
So 6 main dealers - 44 front page offers - only one 3 deal present currently. One could not describe this level of representation as healthy under any circumstances. Looks like 3 UK's offerings are marginalised for now.
