Hi there
Me again :) Boy are you going to get sick of me I can feel it!
With the 6280 Alarm feature, I cannot get it to work. I obviously have set time/date in the phone. Basically then set an alarm. But it never, ever goes off. Obviously I have set the alarm time correctly (24 hr clock)...
It's bugging me because I am use my phone as my alarm clock in the mornings
Please tell me it's something I'm missing - but I don't know what though!!
Glen. ;)

You can always set an alarm via the Calendar, if that's not how you're doing it already. Other than that I'm not really sure!

Well it btfoom! I use my 6280 alarm routinely. I use the standard T-Mobile theme (a possible cause of your alarm's silence maybe). What firmware version are you on? (*#0000# to find out). I can't believe Nokia have programmed out the alarm function, even accidentally

Hello.... Me again! :)
I'm on version 03.60. Strangely enough I just tried the alarm again it it went off. I (like you HandsOn) use the T-mobile theme. Think it's pretty good.
When I say the alarm doesn't work - it's not because it's just quiet, it simply doesn't go off...
But to prove me wrong of course it just B***dy worked! :-) Now, that sound isn't going to wake me up in da monring - so off I trot to see about changing the alarm sound...!
BTW, is the version of FW a good release?
Thank you....
Glen. :)

Heh heh :) Funny how things always seem to work that way when I get involved! I must scare the bejeebers out of the technology :D
You version 03.60 is T-Mobile's current release. I believe that there is a later release in the offing, if not already out. But given that 03.60 is so stable I wouldn't bother changing it myself.
Glad its working out for you ...... finally .....!

Yes, it's strange but true you know. It works flawlessly now! It's even mad my jump a few times when I've set it!
That'll teach me!!
Glen.
