I recently brought a N70 cover in black thanks to andy12 for the inspiration!:p
Once the cover was on i noticed that the kepad surround was starting to peel off so i had the cover taken off and then superglued back down. The cover was taken off so as not to glue any of the keys. now once the screen was put back on just like magic there was a sploge of glue left on the screen. and im not sure on how to get it off, a friend mentioned superglue remover but he said that this stuff would mank up my screen. does anyone know of anything to remove this without causing damage to the screen?

I'm not 100% sure what the screens are made of, but I think they're covered with a thin layer of glass. if this is the case, then try scraping it off with some kind if hard sharp plastic (not metal). I wouldn't recommend remover as this could do more damage.

was a little worried about scratching it off because i dont want do more damage to the screen. i was thinking that i could replace the whole screen but i would need to find the little double-sided sticky surround because i have superglued a screen down on my E1000 and that went horribly horibly wrong! now the screen is worse off than before. I have the original casing so i was thinking that if i could then i would transfer the screens over

When you say screen, do you mean the actual screen of the phone, or the clear plastic screen of the case? If it's the latter then try swapping it from your old case, but use double sided sticky tape and trim it down to size instead of super glue. If it's the LCD screen of the handset, then try what I said in my first post, but be careful not to scratch it. Using superglue remover on plastic will melt it and make it worse.

I got glue on the outside screen if it was the LCD screen then i would try and replace the whole thing. Just as i thought i will have to have a look at swapping screens over from the old one.
