Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a Nokia 6280 on a T-Mobile Web n Walk tariff so I can browse full web pages (not wap pages). But I'm alittle confused because the Nokia site say the 6280 cannot browse full-sized web sites, but I read a post on here which said T-Mobile add a HTML browser onto the 6280 before sale. So, does the T-Mobile version of the 6280 come with a 'real' web browser or not, and does it come with a browser which has small screen rendering technology?

Anybody with a 6280 on Web n Walk, I've really appricate your help. Thanks.

@mobile-man - T-Mobile have added Opera Mini to their version of the 6280. However, this is not operational at the moment. It was supposed to be up and running by 1 May 2006 but has been delayed until 20 May 2006 - unless they have further problems with the release.

Opera Mini is a two-part implementation. There is the Opera Mini browser on the 6280 handset, and there is a server-side application that performs the web page rendering etc. before sending the web page to the handset. It is the latter that is currently being worked on by T-Mobile and is delaying access via the browser.

Until Opera Mini is operational you are able to use the 6280 on Web N Walk via T-Zones and the Wap browser which is a bit of a compromise, but not impossible to use.
