Themes slowing the phone down

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I have a Vodafone n70 and normally run it with the default theme, which is actually quite nice. I changed it to one of the other built in themes the other day and I have noticed the phone runs a fair bit slower.

Am I just being overly critical?

I've never been a fan of themes on phones for exactly this reason - I like to keep mine as generic as possible!

I did the same as you and i even downloaded some new ones to my phone and i have noticed a significant decrese in speed when trying to access the menus or when recording. I thought it was just me apparantly not. I have tried to set the theme back to default but that doesnt speed the phone back up to normal

Try removing from memory any themes that you have stored. I do think that residual memory is an issue with these Symbian phones. The less you have, the more performance loss you experience.
