Hi everybody have a small problem, i sometimes want to use 3's online shop at www.three.co.uk and recently i cannot get access to it on any of my browsers. I have tried MSIE (Latest Version) Opera(Latest Version) Firefox(Latest Version) and Netscape Navigator(Slightly older) all to no avail.
Heres what happens:
MSIE: I get "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" Error 501/505
Opera: I get "Not supported Method"
Firefox: I get "Not supported Method"
Netscape: I get "Not supported Method"
If i use a pc at work for example i can access it no problems just at home. I dont think i am missing any plugins that may be required to access the site. The same happens on www.dialaphone.co.uk (3's site has something to do with dialaphone). Anybody else had this problem? What can i do to correct it because it is driving me mad.
Cheers

Mhm, http://threestore.three.co.uk/ works fine for me. Seems bizzare that the problem affects multiple browsers on the same system... do you have a software firewall application such as Norton Internet Security installed?

Yeah just tried on Internet Explorer & Firefox on my PC and both work fine.
I can get up to:
https://threestore.three.co.uk/msc/PersonalDetails.aspx
Where you insert your Personal Details @ The Checkout but afraid I aint going any further ;) lol

@3G SINGH - It may be that your browsers (all of them) have been hit with a malicious or even benign BHO (Browser Helper Object) which is interfering with the ability for you to display the Threestore website for some reason.
In Internet Explorer have a look at Tools, Manage Addons and you'll see all the "helpers" and other ActiveX bits that have attached to your browser. You can disable any that you have suspicions of.
It may, of course be something else though ..... Good luck.

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies...i have Mc Afee Security Suite Installed but that doesnt seem to affect any other sites just this one. Its well wierd.
HANDS ON- I cant find that option there although i remember looking at that before...maybe i dont have the latest version lol although windows update says i have.

Did you ever end up figuring this out? I am having the same problem going to http://www.unc.edu and http://www.dialaphone.co.uk on 2 laptops here at work. The laptops have the same exact hardware. I can get to http://www.three.co.uk though.
I am running win2ksp4 and ie6sp1 with all the recent hotfixes. It will give the Not Supported Method error in Firefox too.

In Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Manage Add-ons of IE, with 'currently loaded' selected while viewing Dialaphone I have the following running:
Shockwave flash object
SSVHelper Class
Sun Java Console
Windows Messenger
XML HTTP Request
I'm not sure if that'll help, but it's worth checking that at least those things are enabled and loaded and worth noting that nothing else is required.

I only have running
Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0
shockwave ActiveX Control
Shockwave Flash Object
I found an article elsewhere that complained about the synaptics drivers keeping a Windows hotfix for mediaplayer from installing. I had the same problem and had to restart in safe mode to get it to install. I also found the problem with a directx hotfix. I tried disabling the synaptics drivers and re-installing all java and shockware plugins, but it didn't help. I have the latest drivers that are available for the touchpad. It would not surprise me if the drivers kept something else from installing correctly, but I am not sure what else to try.

I had the same mysterious problem with finn.no, a norwegian site wich use javascript on.click actions. It turned out to be the RAlink drivers for my CNET wireless USB dongle (http://www.cnetusa.com/product/specs/wl_CWD-854.htm). I also happened using the LAN connection, so the answer was to remove drivers completely and use the LAN connection to access the site. This was indeed a wierd thing for a driver to do...
Append: I use Windows 2000 Pro, so I don't know if there is a problem like this in XP/Vista.
