trying to download pictures onto my mobile but its telling they are too large..how do I make them smaller so they can fit and how do I know what size to make them ?

Hello! Is it for a wallpaper? If so, either put one of the existing ones onto your PC to find out what dimensions it is, or google for wallpapers for your phone and get the size from those.

If you're just generally trying to put a picture on and it's telling you it's too big, open up the picture in Paint (Start > Accessories > Paint) and click Image > Stretch/Skew. You can then make the picture smaller :) I hope that helps a little!
