N70 Video and switch on tone

I don't know if any one can help but I have 2 queries about the N70. The only things that irritate me about this great phone are, 1. that I can't seem to switch off the nokia tone when I first switch on the phone and 2. I can't get rid of the vodaphone speechmarks screensaver which seems to switch on and off at will (chewing up my battery!). Anybody got any ideas?

On a different note I am trying to play mpeg 4 video on the phone which I am saving to the memory card from my editing machine (AVID). I can get the pictures to play very well but with no sound. I can get sound on nokias video format but then the picture quality is low. Does anybody know what sound codec nokia uses on this phone or any good conversion software?

Too change from the voda screensaver go into the menu then themes and edit the theme u have selected for the phone.

I think having the phone on silent stops the startup tone.
Not really a solution though!
