Can someone please tell me the latest software version for the n70 and is there a way to get msn to work on the phone?

I don't know the latest firmware, but for MSN and other major messaging services you can use Agile Messenger: http://www.agilemobile.com/

The latest Firmware 3.0546.2.3 will be available progressively in the next few days in the official Nokia Points and Nokia Service Points.

Do we know what if there'll be any MAJOR differences?

My current firmware is 2.0536.0.2 (OLD!)

software version 3.0546.2.3 was released on 18/11/05.

is this a generic version though as all the networks have their own versions and if you want a generic one flashed onto your phone you may lose any network specific customisations and you may have to pay around £20 as its not a warranty issue
