Hi every1 whilst in my local 3point i was having a look at some of the 3pay deals and boy have they got some good ones at the mo:

LG U8110- £19.99 with £30 credit= £50
LG U8120- £29.99 with £30 credit= £60

All of the phone are refurbished. This can be found most 3points(in Superdrug) or 3shops

One wonders where all these 'refurbished' hadsets come from? CPW were showing over 130 Refurbished 3 UK Nokia 6680's on their website last week. Unless there is a special factory making 'refurbished' phones one has to conclude that they are getting significant quantities returned by customers,

Of course!!;) Buy the handset, use the credit then unlock and sell:cool: . Its not like these handsets are hard to unlock anymore either. Plus its a pretty good xmas pres. with no more 30 day limit people might actually stay on 3pay. Tbh in London 3 are quite good now nearly 99% of the time i have full 3g signal on my a1000 and hardly ever drop calls. Its a far cry from the days of the old nec handsets and constantly dropping calls- at least they are getting something right!!:D

Cool prices. Anyone looking for a cheap 3G phone/starter phone will be well catered for with these deals.

Ive just brought a U8138 from a threepoint for £59.99. It is great value. I am very impressed with the 8138 and I should have brought one earlier! They had the U8110 for £49.99, but I thought id spend the extra tenner and get a much better one. The had all the U8110, U8120, U8130 and U8138 in stock. Seems a little stupid if you buy a U8120 when you can get the U8130/8 for the same price.

Point of note: The Nokia 6680 from CPW cannot be unlocked as of yet, unless you are happy to pay 3 some extortionate amount of beer vouchers. Apart from that, the LG series can all be unlocked - if that is what you need/want.
