Well, I bought World of Warcraft recently and was rather impressed. Ok, it took a few years(!) to install, but once I got into it I started to wonder if MMORPGs would work over a mobile connection.
Not only that, but I wanted to get it onto my T2XP. I didn't expect it to work for a minute, but as it turns out the tiny Sony Vaio copes quite well!
First up I connected over 2.5G. It's playable, but with latency of 1400ms WoW was complaining of heavy lag. Next up was 3G, which faired better at 600ms of lag, still heavy by WoW standards but definitely more playable. HSDPA should make for perfection.
So, there it is! Fully immersive 3D massively multiplayer gaming can be had on the move. Just not on your phone by itself at the moment ;)
