Vodafone is the first German network operator to offer UMTS services to pre-paid customers. New customers who opt for an UMTS phone automatically get the 'Vodafone Happy Live! UMTS for CallYa' tariff at the standard CallYa rates. The flat rate of only EUR 5 a month covers many different 'UMTS-powered' multimedia services, including free, unlimited viewing of Vodafone Mobile TV highlights on the mobile phone. Pre-paid customers pay EUR 149.50 for a CallYa SIM card with ten euros' worth of free calls in conjunction with the Motorola C980 Vodafone live! mobile phone. What's more, the 'Vodafone Happy Live!
