Sorry, your internet browsing session has expired

(Off topic....but is it a bug on the boards, or intentional, but it wouldn't let me post unless I added some text as well as the quoted text, saying that it was under the 10 word limit. I understand that this it prevent one word posts, such as "LOL!", but shouldn't the quoted text count?)

It's a business service that lets you send texts from Outlook.

OT: If the word limit is 10 words then that quote is only seven for a start ;)

Sorry about the link and thanks for the reply. I know it says business text messages. But it also says:

What do I need?
Text Centre is available to any Vodafone UK "pay monthly" customer. All you need is an internet-connected PC with a recent version of Microsoft Outlook®

So I guess I could use the service too?!

Just tried it and it works ok, I will see if I am charged for the text I have sent.

Seems a really good offer and 50 texts a day. Nice :)

After downloading 223mb at a rate of 11kb/s I finally managed to get Vodafone Text Centre working. Shame I don't text that much really ;) But still a very good offer!

Hmph, I'm an Outlook user and Vodafone contract customer so thought it must be worth a nosey.

...and...

Wow! Pretty cool. Not only can you use Outlook to send SMS messages from your Vodafone account (that appear to come from your mobile), but you are also assigned your own incoming SMS-to-email number! Messages sent to this number turn up in your email inbox, basically giving you a whole new dedicated number to use from your PC. Fantastic :D

A friend of mine used the Text Centre Service to text a German mobile and his online bill said it was free of charge. Now that would be more than pretty cool.
Could the paper bill show something different than the online bill and in the end he wil be charged for it?
