140mah battery for a920 but not willing to pay £50 for it .... anyone able to help ???

Have you tried eBay? There are tons on there and very cheap too ... for example do an eBay search on auction number 6414205239 (£2.99 + £2.00 postage) or a general search on "a920 battery" and you'll come up trumps.

yeah but they are all under 1050mah - oops my OP should say 1400mah

The 1050 is the standard battery - the 1400 is a high capacity version

If you specifically need the battery for its high capacity then the best thing you can do is buy brand new from the manufacturer. Li-ion batteries begin to lose their capacity immediately after manufacture, so even if you could find someone with a battery that hadn't been used yet you'd have already lost some of the charge.

I ordered a spare battery from i2020, now i1010, which arrived loose. It wasn't even hologrammed (new Nokia ones are) and didn't look particularly new! Y'have to be so careful with batteries...
